Enjoyed the peaceful balcony view of Campo de São Francisco square, which was a nice escape from the busier areas. The staff were attentive, always ready to assist, and I appreciated the late checkout arrangement. Unfortunately, noise from the wooden stairs and some barking from inside the building disrupted sleep. Found parking convenient, though it’s essential to have coins for paid spots. Overall, had a lovely stay despite a few hiccups in comfort and room size.

However, the noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our sleep at times, and some hallways echoed with foot traffic. Though the charm of the old building is alluring, the soundproofing could use improvement. We also found parking a bit tricky at times, so prepare to have change ready for fees, though free parking is available in the evenings.

We had an amazing time here! Davide was our host, greeted us like family, and check-in was a breeze. The entire hotel has this charming, antiquated feel that blew my expectations away, especially with the spacious rooms and large, modern bathrooms.
